Shoving aside what we really feel is what most people do most of the time. We become so repressed that we don’t even know where to check in in ourselves to become aware of our feelings.
Paying attention to how you feel about something and truthfully process that feeling is almost an ART that allows you to stay true to YOURSELF. Whether or not to express that feeling depends on the situation and is then a matter of choice.
Being true to your own emotions is what allows us to respect other people’s feelings.
