And like the stars in the heavens we are complete and celestial bodies who deserve to be loved and appreciated for simply being in the sky. And as we imagine our sense of self, may we become so.
I attended a most wonderful school most of my schooling years. Recently they “re-branded” and I read the story and stumbled upon this extraordinary quote from the school’s patron saint:
In the words of patron, Saint Catherine of Siena: “If you are who you were meant to be, you will set the world on fire.”
There is a longer piece to be written as a reflection, most assuredly. If only family history and life experience didn’t present speed bumps and obstacles along the way. But, no matter, I will deal with them too!
